Privacy Policy

Create Your Zen ("we", "us", "our") is an ambient sound and picture mixer available at createyourzen.app and as a mobile app. It is operated by Remiam LTD, which is the data controller responsible for your information. This policy explains what information we handle when you use Create Your Zen, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It was last updated on 22 June 2026.

Create Your Zen has no user accounts — you don't sign up, log in, or give us your email to use it. We don't sell your data and we don't show you ads. With your consent we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the app is used, and you can refuse or withdraw that at any time. You can request deletion of any data we hold at any time by emailing [email protected]. Everything below is the detail.

Server logs. As with most websites and apps, our hosting and content providers automatically record technical details when you connect — your IP address, browser or device type, the page or file requested, the referring page, and the time. This is used to deliver content, keep the service secure, and diagnose problems.

Cookies and analytics. With your consent, we set analytics cookies and identifiers to measure how the app is used (see Cookies and analytics below). If you don't consent, these are not set.

No accounts, no sign-up. The mixer is completely anonymous. We do not ask for, or store, your name, email address, or any account details. The mobile app keeps your saved mixes and preferences only on your own device — they never reach our servers.

Necessary cookies are required for the site to work. They remember your display preference and, if you are a site administrator, keep you signed in to the content tools. These are always on because the site can't function without them.

Marketing cookies are optional and stay off until you accept them. When enabled, they load Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel through Google Tag Manager so we can understand, in aggregate, how people use the app. You choose whether to allow these in the cookie banner and can change your mind at any time.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may then not work as intended.

We use the information above to operate and serve the app, keep it secure and prevent abuse, understand how it is used so we can improve it, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use it to advertise to you, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

We don't sell your data. We share the limited information above only with the service providers that help us run Create Your Zen, and only so they can perform that service:

Supabase — hosting, database, and file storage that serve the sounds, images, and content. Google — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, used only with your consent. Meta Platforms — the Facebook Pixel, used only with your consent. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

We keep information only for as long as we need it. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained according to Google's and Meta's own retention settings. Cookies expire after the period set by each cookie, or when you clear them. Because we don't have user accounts, we hold no profile or contact data about you to retain.

You can refuse or withdraw analytics consent at any time and clear cookies through your browser. Depending on where you live (for example, in the UK or EU), you also have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the limited personal data we process, and to object to that processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected].

You can request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time. To make a data deletion request, email us at [email protected]. We will delete your data and confirm within 30 days, free of charge. This is the data deletion process for Create Your Zen.

You can also delete data yourself: withdraw analytics consent and clear your browser cookies to remove analytics identifiers; delete the app, or clear your browser's site data, to remove the preferences and saved mixes stored on your device. Server logs that contain your IP address are automatically deleted within 90 days.

Because Create Your Zen does not offer user accounts, we do not hold a profile, name, or stored email address about you — so in most cases there is little or no personal data to delete beyond the items above. Whatever we do hold, you can have deleted using the request process above.

Create Your Zen is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

We use reputable providers and standard safeguards to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

Our providers (including Google, Meta, and Supabase) may process data on servers outside your country, including outside the UK and EU. Where they do, they are required to protect it to the standards required by applicable law.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear within the app.
